Raschel lace:

Old knitting technique, where the lace on the back is smooth and consists of warp threads; Fairly simple lace, with little relief and repetitive motifs.

Jacquardtronic lace:

Improved Raschel technique, whereby the design is no longer transferred to diskette via the organ book; Slightly more elaborate, with more relief and more opening variation in the motif.
