With our new website finally here, we want to tell you a little more about what La Lopez offers. We were founded in 1995 by Mrs. Deisy Maria Rosa Lopez. After graduating fashion school and experience under the brand Amorette Bodyfashion, she realised that she had a special passion – and talent – for designing patterns and techniques necessary to create lingerie and swimwear that fits flawlessly.

Whether it’s through pattern development for brands or tutoring the next generation of lingerie designers, today La Lopez exists to bring ever-better lingerie to the market season after season!

For those planning a career in the lingerie industry, we offer a professional online learning course on pattern-making. You’ll learn the technical ins and outs of creating everything from loungewear to shapewear, and from maternity lingerie to swimwear.

Prefer learning at your own pace? Mrs. Lopez’s book ‘’Designing and Creating Lingerie in any size’’ will be an invaluable resource, both for beginners and those looking to level up their skillset. It teaches all the basics of lingerie construction, including advice on the best materials and sewing technique.

Lingerie sewing patterns

Less interested in designing your own patterns, and simply want to get experienced in sewing? We sell a selection of easy-to-follow sewing patterns that include bras, bottoms, and a bodysuit. If the lingerie pattern isn’t available in your size as standard, we’ll create it for you!

Lingerie and swimwear prototyping and production

Thanks to our extensive design experience, we also offer pattern-development services for lingerie and swimwear brands that will have your customers raving about the fit. We can also produce samples, and work with our own manufacturing contacts to get your collection produced. Learn more here.

The La Lopez lingerie collection

Our online boutique is for the non-sewers who are tired of buying off-the-rack lingerie that doesn’t fit. After 19 years of designing lingerie, Mrs. Lopez came to the conclusion that not one solid sizing system exists out there – so she set out to develop it herself.

Our unique system incorporates two measurements extra, for unprecedented accuracy, usually ignored by other brands. Watch the video here for an easy guide to measuring yourself, pop the numbers into the form on that page, and we’ll run them through our software and tell you your size. If it isn’t listed on the product page, we can custom make it just for you!
